Congratulations to all who have recently represented Puriton in county competitions. George had an outstanding win in the singles, George and Nigel are through to the next round in the pairs and Richard Hale's team lost a very enjoyable game in the fours to a very strong Ilminster team. George, Nigel, and Richard lost 18-17 on the last end of the triples, keep up the good work!

On Sunday the 14th of December many members of the club attended a very lively and enjoyable evening of curling, silly games, food, drink and great company. Unfortunately the ladies once again won the curling. The men performed so badly that there were rumours of spiked drinks and at least one man claimed he'd had his equipment tampered with. Next year will be different......
