On Sunday the 16th of August 12 brave souls represented Puriton in an outdoor bowling friendly at Mark Moor. Although a somewhat alien environment everyone really tried their best and most importantly enjoyed a very friendly encounter. Many of us really got the hang of it...but a bit too late! Never mind, it was a fun day out and thanks must go to Mark Moor for their warm welcome, friendliness and very much needed tea.
